I would NEVER EVER miss any JAPANESE event held in MALAYSIA.
WHY?
because i can`t go there.
despite this strong urge to go rob my own account, kidnap miza and fly to Japan.
then come back after my money is wasted and boast around my friends. JIEJIE especially.
THAT WOULD BE A GREAT CLIMAX OF THE STORY OF MY LIFE.
Yet, as always, fantasy remains ever so lovely.
thats as far as it goes.
You can ONLY DREAM to have genuine conversation and confrontation of nihonjin here.
EXCEPT during OBON. (but thats another story).
Guess whos dream was about to get real? ( on that particular day)
it was close enough....
to what i wanted all this time.

SATURDAY,
26TH JUNE 2010
(the day azhar`s sis, latipah, got married.. congrats~)
after the wedding, i went here.
MID VALLEY MEGAMALL
What happened there, you ask?
thats right! YUKATA FAIR IN MID VALLEY MEGAMALL!!!
(diam ah! aku xreti gune scanner kat umah-- -_-! )
DAMN RIGHT I WAS ESTATHIC!!!
doesnt matter how i tugged mr Cendawans sleeves and half-ran to see all the yukatas there.
n MEN yukatas too!!
smexy~
women`s yukata
macam2 harge ade, tapi xyah nenade, pakai skali je beli yg murah skali sudeyh
(yang mahal kain laen sket, lagi lembut + xkeras + senang nak bent)
(sorry sucky quality)
again, i dunno how to use the scanner
yukata for kids and men
apparently, there are way too many yukatas on display.
too many that u won`t know which yukata to pick.
The ONLY information/guide/rules that i know of, in choosing your own yukata is that :
1. RED OBI is for kids ONLY! and by kids, i mean, those under 16 or 15 years old.
2. MEN`s yukata is the only yukata that has a 2 piece (yukata and belt) AND it HAS NO FLOWERS on its print. DUUUH~
what i DID NOT know is that, there are yukatas for young adult, middle adult, formal occasion, elegant looking lady, blablabla.
kweh??

JIEJIE : xpaham, da bace sampai setengah page xde mende pun leyh wat aku jeles?
CHOCO : The best is yet to come.
So as i said before, i did not know there are many types of yukata, apart from the gender differences.
So i was getting pretty confused, estathic, and excited all at once.
And then, i saw a bunch of people gathered in front of the fitting room,
and i was like,
"ape nih, nak cube baju pun kene ade sekampung orang tengok ke?"
what i saw AFTER that just make my big eyes BIGGER!
"OMFG, ADE NIHONJIN PEOPLE PAKAIKAN YUKATA!!!"
*sambil menoleh ke arah mrCendawan*
my, what biiig eyes you have--
(source unknown)
ok, pass!
thumbs up untuk mrC
kalau aku, jangan harap, kot2 ganti ngan pakwe jepun ak da beratur depan line
(ughh.. gambar dihiasi oleh kembar terpisah pelakon DIARI RAMADHAN RAFIQUE)
rupa rupanya....
"kalau try, kene beli la, saye xnk beli--"
ceh
*pijak tanah*
Lalu,
"Do you want to learn how soo wear yukata?"
(amazingly, with as perfect as an english accent a japanese can have), well, ok la english die, bleyh paham, xde la teruk sangat macam dalam drama jepun selalu tuh.
*mata bersinar2*
*tengok MrC seolah2 die yang kene jawabkan*
"Caaan I??"
"But i already have a yukata, i just want to know how to tie the obi~"
*gleaming*
*dengan selambe cakap inggeris dengan harapan orang jepun tuh paham*
(serius, mule2 ingatkan die xpaham, sebab tuh takot nak cakap pape, watashi no nihon wa has gotten rusty desu)
"You can! I can teach you! only for ..e swenty minutes! do u have free sime?"
"OF COURSE !!"
... so i spent the next 40 minutes or so learning different tecniques of tying obi for my already-bought yukata.
She was a very nice lady, compared to the grumpy and sour-faced chinese sales-assistant during that sale. Muke masak gile nak je aku sound. But mo mood was far too good to be affected by those grumpy ammas, and was far too excited to be enjoying the company of yuki-chan.
That woman is lovely i tell ya!
she kept saying sentences like,

"Oh, you are gorgeous!" *memuji skill mengikat obi aku yang hebat*

"gorgeous!"

"ooooo ! look! you can follow berry goood!!!! "

"i am so proud!! "

"waaaa!! "
kalau nak cakap ngan orang jepun asli punye kene g jepun.
dah g jepun tuh, kene la pulak cakap bahasa jepun baku.
uhh... terpaku aku nanti--
xmampu lagi den.
anyways, aku bangga jugak la,
sebab aku berjaya selit2kan bahasa jepun, seperti :
"my tomodachi bought me yukata from japan.."
"etto, how do i...."
"waaaaaaaah" *dengan cara jepun*
"eeeehhh" *juga dengan cara jepun*
"arigato!" *ayat yang paling hebat*
haa...tengok..~
korang mane bley dapat chance cam aku nih
bley cakap jepun ngan orang jepun
patuh die paham ko cakap ape ,
ko pun paham die cakap ape...
rare opportunity tuh~~
speaking of rare opportunity,
"can you teach me how to tie the traditional obi?"
"aah ! the toraditonal obi? its so rare for someone to ask for this type of obi! u must be good!" *excited*
"ma, well, hehe, i have the traditional obi. and i want to know how to tie it in different way."
"let me teach you!"
>_______________<
salah aku jugak.
suh die pegang beg aku sampai penuh tangan die.
camane nak amek gambar?
hehe
so keje MrC harituh mundar mandir keliling yukata fair tuh , carik ape pun aku xtaw.
lepas abes borak2 dengan yuki-chan,
seb bek aku xdipaksa beli yukata yang yuki-chan dah bukak mase nak ajar aku tuh.
mungkin juga kerana aku lari cecepat lepas borak ngan yuki supaya makcik2 jusco yang garang tuh xpaksa aku beli.
sejurus sesampai di rumah,
dengan excited nye aku terus cuba yukata aku.
inilah hasilnya.
-PANDANGAN SISI-
first time pakai yukata sendiri!!
banggaaaa!!!
-PANDANGAN HADAPAN-
(kain tuh macam nak kene gosok kan? malas nye)
nampak sangat tangan terjulur, biase la, orang tinggi, tangan pun nak tinggi gak-
excited nak g BON ODORI!!
ps : sepatutnya aku post nih da lame da, tapi selepas event ini, aku g Thailand wat kali kedua ngan MrC pulak, so lupe nak post.
